Each has made a difference in their own way, and this is your chance to say thank you.

About YOUR SPONSORSHIP

Your sponsorship helps us create a stunning display of American flags that honors our community's heroes while supporting local charitable initiatives. Our field of flags will be displayed from the Flag Raising Ceremony on May 18th through Flag Day on June 14th, 2025.

This year, we're excited to enhance our Flags For Heroes initiative with an inaugural Digital Heroes Gallery, allowing community members to view and celebrate heroes online alongside our physical flag display.

Your contribution is 100% tax-deductible. Organizational sponsorships support our local heroes while benefiting the community through Rotary Club of Durham's service projects, scholarships, and veterans' programs.

All donations to Flags For Heroes are collected via Click & Pledge. This secure platform accepts all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers, with your payment information protected by bank-grade encryption and security measures to ensure safe, worry-free transactions.

The Rotary Club of Durham, North Carolina, established in 1916, is a vibrant chapter of Rotary International with over 200 dedicated members committed to service above self.

For over a century, our club has been deeply engaged in addressing community needs through various service initiatives, guided by Rotary's Four-Way Test and seven key focus areas, including promoting peace, fighting disease, and supporting education. Beyond our annual Flags For Heroes event, we organize impactful projects like the MLK Service Project, where 200 volunteers packed 60,000 meal bags for families in need.

Our weekly meetings foster friendship, leadership development, and community involvement while providing opportunities to make a meaningful difference in Durham and beyond. As Rotarians, we remain committed to our mission of providing service to others, promoting integrity, and advancing goodwill in our community and around the world.
